Meals will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, if there is a green "Food Available" sign on our doors.
Each meal will include 2 lbs. of ground deer, as available, harvested by our local hunters and processed locally.
*Must be present to pick up meals. We will not accept phone calls for meal reservations.*
Sharp County Hearts for the Hungry
A commitment to our community, in coordination with the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office, to help meet food needs.
Beginning Monday, November 10, and continuing as needed through December 31, we will distribute up to 325 meals per week to help feed those affected by food shortages resulting from the loss of S.N.A.P. benefits or employment due to the Federal shutdown.
Each meal will include 2 lbs. of ground deer, as available, harvested by our local hunters and processed locally.
How Can You Help? — Congregation Action
A shopping list for the Hearts for the Hungry drop box will be available in the foyer for the next eight weeks.
Bring items anytime during the week:
• Tuesday–Friday: 10 AM – 2 PM
• Wednesday and Sunday: During service times
When you’re out shopping, pick up a few extra items to help support this outreach!
